About the Role
As a Commis Waiter or Waitress at Mei Ume, you will support the restaurant team in delivering exceptional service throughout every stage of the guest journey. You will assist with the preparation and maintenance of the restaurant, support service delivery, and ensure every guest receives attentive and personalized hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and preparing the restaurant before service
- Support the team by delivering food, beverages, and guest requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your station and all service areas
- Prepare mise en place and ensure service stations are fully stocked
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication before, during, and after service
- Ensure food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards
- Anticipate guest needs and respond with care and attention to detail
- Develop knowledge of menus, ingredients, beverages, and service standards
- Support the delivery of Four Seasons service standards at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Waiter, Commis Waitress, or within a hospitality environment is beneficial
- Right to Work in the UK

- £40,000 annual package inclusive of base salary and service charge
