About the Role

In the Private Clients Bank division, Deutsche Bank consolidates its expertise in private customer business, operating under the Deutsche Bank and Postbank brands as the market leader in Germany. This division offers high-quality financial services, encompassing comprehensive offerings for private clients, support for affluent individuals and their families, and solutions for small to medium-sized enterprises in key Eurozone markets. The Private Clients Bank is one of the four business divisions of the Deutsche Bank Group, alongside Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, and Asset Management.

Responsibilities

  • Advise a dedicated client portfolio with sophisticated advisory needs in the Wealth Management Select segment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and established face of the bank for clients and the market in the Wealth Management Select segment.
  • Provide exemplary wealth management advisory services, covering all (securities) products and services within Wealth Management Select.
  • Conduct advisory discussions to a successful conclusion.
  • Leverage strong sales skills to present the full range of products and services in Wealth Management Select.
  • Engage specialists to address complex client needs, such as large-volume PMP, complex pension requirements, and construction financing.
  • Acquire new clients in the Wealth Management Select segment and grow business volume.
  • Provide holistic advice, considering regulatory requirements for securities business.
  • Conduct structured strategy discussions using available tools, processes, and resources.
  • Utilize existing client relationships and communication skills to gain new contacts and clients.
  • Maintain personal client relationships for long-term customer loyalty.
  • Network effectively within the market and actively participate in customer events.
  • Foster the team's advisory performance through motivation and knowledge sharing, particularly supporting junior advisors.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on sales and customer service aspects.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a bank clerk; further training and/or studies are desirable.
  • Certified investment advisor qualification (or willingness to obtain before starting client advisory activities).
  • Many years of successful advisory experience in selling financial services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MiFID-compliant advisory processes and product spectrum.
  • Proficient acquisition skills demonstrated through consistent client relationship engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of investments, including financial market developments.
  • Good knowledge and practical experience in all other sales products.
  • Several years of experience and sustained success in appointment scheduling to maximize client potential.
  • High level of customer and service orientation.
  • Confident, competent, and friendly demeanor with clients.
  • Enjoy working in a team.
  • High degree of initiative and assertiveness.
  • Proficient in using AI to increase productivity, optimize processes, and solve business challenges.
  • Critical judgment and responsible handling of data and AI results.
