About the Role
Legend is seeking an FP&A Manager to join the Commercial Finance team, serving as a Finance Business Partner to the iGaming business. This individual contributor role offers significant ownership and influence, partnering directly with the Head of iGaming and leadership team to shape commercial decisions across a diverse portfolio. The role requires going beyond performance reporting to understand drivers, challenge thinking, identify opportunities, and recommend strategic actions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted Finance Business Partner to iGaming leadership, understanding the business and using financial insight to influence commercial decision-making.
- Analyze the P&L, operational, and commercial KPIs to identify performance drivers and recommend business actions.
- Build financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to assess investment opportunities, trade-offs, risks, and returns.
- Own and improve forecasting and planning processes, integrating financial, operational, and commercial assumptions.
- Proactively identify opportunities and risks, investigating root causes and driving discussions on potential actions.
- Present clear recommendations to senior stakeholders and constructively challenge established thinking.
- Partner with Product, Commercial, Marketing, and Data teams to link financial performance with operational decisions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance FP&A models, reporting, processes, and data utilization.
Requirements
- A fully qualified accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong FP&A or Commercial Finance experience.
- Demonstrable experience operating as a Finance Business Partner, working with senior non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to develop a clear point of view and recommend actions.
- Proven examples of analysis influencing business decisions, investments, or performance improvements.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario-planning capabilities.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to build and interrogate models independently.
- Strong understanding of P&L and EBITDA performance and ability to connect financial outcomes with operational and commercial drivers.
- Confidence to constructively challenge senior stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Proactive and curious approach to investigating opportunities, risks, or questions.
- Ability to communicate complex financial and operational information clearly and concisely.
- Experience in a fast-paced, commercially complex environment.
- Experience within iGaming, gaming, digital media, technology, or another data-rich consumer business is advantageous.
