Responsibilities
- Responsible for cleaning the main VLT Floor, excluding foodservice areas, and addressing potential safety hazards.
- Perform daily pickup of papers and refuse on the VLT floor, grounds, and parking lots adjacent to the VLT Floor and restrooms.
- Order cleaning supplies weekly.
- Oversee the maintenance of all cleaning department equipment.
- Maintain the supply of bottled water, including ordering supplies and coolers.
- Maintain daily documentation of restroom cleaning for the insurance company.
- Maintain knowledge of the union contract relevant to the Housekeeping Department.
- Role model the company's guest service program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum one-year supervisory experience.
- Experience in facility cleaning required.
- Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
- Basic computer skills including word-processing and e-mail.
- Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.
- Excellent social skills and professional appearance.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and swing shifts.
