About the Role

This role is for individuals pursuing a professional education in pedagogy, combining practical experience in a Kita (kindergarten) setting with their studies. The position aims to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, allowing participants to grow into the profession of a pedagogical specialist.

Responsibilities

• Co-create the daily routine and provide individualized support for children based on the Berlin Education Program.
• Contribute to the development of organizational and pedagogical structures and the Kita's concept.
• Collaborate effectively with children, colleagues, families, and the sponsoring organization.
• Plan, implement, and reflect on pedagogical work using the BeoKiz method.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled or accepted into a recognized college or university for social pedagogy as part of a part-time, career-change program towards state-recognized pedagogical qualification.
• Organizational skills, strong communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Good self-reflection and conflict resolution skills.
• A relationship-oriented and appreciative approach towards children and families.
• Creativity and passion for working as an educator.
• Provide necessary documentation of ongoing training regularly.
• Submit an extended police clearance certificate with no entries.

Salary/Compensations

• €3,045.00 to €3,105.00 per month for 39.4 hours per week, prorated based on agreed hours.
