About the Role
Play a key role in shaping complex connectivity solutions for demanding business customers by designing and developing tailored network solutions across High Capacity Services, Dark Fibre, Optical, and other configurable connectivity opportunities. Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding opportunities from qualification and solution design through to deployment and sign-off, while identifying process improvements and driving innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop tailored network solutions across High Capacity Services, Dark Fibre, Optical, and other configurable connectivity opportunities.
- Ensure customers receive commercially competitive and technically robust solutions.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding opportunities from qualification and solution design through to deployment and sign-off.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, influence product development, and drive innovation.
Requirements
- Experience with networking technologies within the IT, telecommunications or systems integration industry.
- Knowledge across Data networking technologies including Layer 1, Layer 2 and Layer 3.
- Experience producing technical designs and responding to customer requirements or proposals.
- Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to present technical solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting pre-sales or technical solution design activities.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and their commercial applications.
- Experience working with external partners, suppliers or cross-functional stakeholders.
