About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated educator to join our team at Kita Drachenhöhle, a facility that cares for up to 25 children (under and over 3 years old) in a nature-oriented environment. We emphasize individual, relationship-based child support within a partially open concept aligned with the situational approach. Our unique features include a versatile movement room, sauna, and experience shower.

Responsibilities

  • Co-designing daily routines and providing individual key person support for children based on the Berlin Education Program.
  • Contributing to the development of organizational and pedagogical structures, as well as the educational concept.
  • Collaborating effectively with children, colleagues, families, and the sponsoring organization.
  • Planning, implementing, and reflecting on pedagogical work using the BeoKiz method.

Requirements

  • Completed training as an educator (m/f/d) or a completed degree in childhood education, social pedagogy, or a comparable qualification.
  • Organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and teamwork capabilities.
  • Good self-reflection and conflict resolution skills.
  • A relationship-oriented and appreciative approach towards children and families.
  • Creativity and passion for the work as an educator.
