Responsibilities

  • Monitor functioning of VGM machines and change/fix ticket paper.
  • Patrol assigned section to ensure rule adherence, machine functionality, and cleanliness.
  • Process jackpot payouts according to company procedures.
  • Redeem vouchers for guests when not printed properly.
  • Make change for guests promptly.
  • Stock holding area with voucher paper.
  • Answer guest questions about games and resolve complaints.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to VGM machines, including resolving bill jams and tilts.
  • Record details of malfunctioning machines needing repair.
  • Manage cash bank for breaking down bills for guests.
  • Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures.
  • Utilize two-way radio system professionally for communication.
  • Role model company guest service program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.
  • Weekends, Holidays, and swing shifts are required.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent standing and walking for entire length of shift.
  • Ability to push and pull chairs in and out that are in front of machines.

Skills

  • Basic Math skills including addition and subtraction
  • Able to handle large money transactions
  • Guest service

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED required
