About the Role
Join a family-run nursery group as a Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist to manage hiring and onboarding across multiple London sites. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to shape its scope based on your capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from advertising to offer and start date.
- Build strong relationships with nursery managers and senior leadership to understand hiring needs.
- Lead onboarding for new starters, including DBS checks, references, right to work, and qualification verification.
- Ensure all onboarding processes comply with safer recruitment practices.
- Work confidently with recruitment and onboarding systems.
- Contribute to or lead improvements in recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Represent the organization at relevant recruitment and networking events across London.
Requirements
- Experience in a recruitment role within childcare, education, healthcare, or another highly regulated and high-volume sector is highly desirable.
- Significant experience in a hiring management role within the same sectors is also considered.
- Comfortable working with recruitment and onboarding systems and processes.
- Good understanding of safer recruitment and compliance requirements.
- Confident in building relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Ability to split time between the office and nursery visits.
