About the Role
As a Tax Specialist at IONOS, you will manage tax matters for group companies worldwide, focusing on transfer pricing and contributing to the development of tax processes and compliance systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tax balance sheets and tax returns for German group companies.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local Files, CbCR), including functional and risk analyses.
- Contribute to the implementation and development of intercompany transfer pricing guidelines and models.
- Review intercompany agreements in coordination with business functions.
- Assess tax implications of business transactions, contracts, and restructurings.
- Advise business functions and subsidiaries on tax matters.
- Act as a contact person for foreign entities on operational transfer pricing questions.
- Support tax audits and communicate with tax authorities and external advisors.
- Help develop the Tax Compliance Management System and digitalize tax processes.
- Monitor legislative changes and case law, and derive recommendations.
Requirements
- Academic background in finance and international tax.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in tax consultancy, audit, or an in-house tax function.
- Experience in the tax department of a multinational group is advantageous.
- German Tax Advisor Exam is advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of German corporate income tax law.
- Knowledge of international tax law is desirable.
- Initial exposure to transfer pricing or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area.
- Experience with SAP and common tax software.
- Very good Excel skills.
- Structured and independent work style.
- Enjoy working with different business functions.
- Business-fluent German language skills.
- Good English language skills.
