About the Role

The Warehouse Associate is a detail-oriented individual that manages incoming and outgoing material which could include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Some tasks may be performed in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom or flow-hood controlled environment. Proper gowning procedures will be followed.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully pick, scale-count, pack, and ship orders using WMS/ERP software and devices
  • Manually palletize and prepare shipments for pickup along with all associated documentation.
  • Accurately perform order fulfillment activities and assist with inventory control measures.
  • Analyze special instructions and follow customer order requirements.
  • Verify parts to ensure the correct part was selected and no visual contaminants are present.
  • Communicate and address any issues that prevent the processing of customer orders.
  • Follow controlled ISO and Environmental, Health & Safety procedures.
  • Maintain safe operation of all necessary equipment in the work area.
  • Assist in general warehouse and facilities activities when needed.
  • Appropriately report/record any product or process discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand inventory principles and material movement functions.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Position may require climbing ladders for top-level selection.
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjust.

Skills

  • Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices as required.
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions.
  • Good interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
  • Solid reading & reasoning skills.

Experience Level

  • Hands-on warehouse experience preferred.
  • General understanding of warehouse operations and layouts a plus
  • ERP experience preferred.
  • Experience in a cleanroom is a plus.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
