About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Consumer Financing Sales team in Ontario, based in the Southwest Ontario region. You will develop and implement business development action plans and strategies based on established business strategies. You will work with automotive dealerships in the Southwest Ontario region (London, Chatham, and Windsor) to strengthen the National Bank brand presence, contribute to loan portfolio growth, and increase market share.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities in the market and make recommendations.
- Execute a business plan and adapt it to changing market conditions and territory realities.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with dealerships and internal stakeholders across relevant business sectors.
- Build a strong relationship with clients and ensure their satisfaction by offering personalized service.
- Increase the visibility of the Bank's products and services by participating in external activities, industry trade shows, and related events, as required.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience, or completed master's degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
- Demonstrated experience and success in B2B business development.
- Experience in account management, sales, and customer service is an asset.
- Experience in indirect consumer financing or leasing industry is an asset.
- A car and a valid driver's license are required.
- Ability to maintain a home office.
