About the Role
The Course Operations Manager will lead the effective delivery of course administration across the School of Health & Medical Sciences, ensuring consistent, efficient, and student-focused processes. This role involves operational leadership, managing competing priorities, and driving continuous improvement in course administration to align with University regulations and institutional priorities. The position requires working across both Clerkenwell and Tooting campuses.
Responsibilities
- Managing Course Operations teams.
- Overseeing the implementation of administrative processes that support enquiry management, registration, induction, timetabling, assessment, progression, award, and graduation.
Requirements
- Knowledge of higher education procedures, regulations, and administrative processes.
- Experience managing complex operational activity within a busy, customer-focused environment.
- Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to interpret regulations and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence, coordinate, and delegate effectively.
- Experience of student records systems such as SITS.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
