About the Role
As Country Manager Germany, you will be responsible for the entire setup and development of Foreus in Germany. You will not start in an existing structure – you will build it.
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for establishing the Foreus Berlin location, from initial structures to a self-operating team.
- Establishment and leadership of the Berlin location.
- Independent setup, recruitment, and leadership of an intelligence team.
- Development of efficient operational structures and processes.
- Responsibility for the operational quality of the German location.
- Management and support of complex intelligence and investigation projects.
- Building and maintaining a robust network in Germany.
- Collaboration with companies, law firms, financial institutions, and other relevant partners.
- Close coordination with the management and headquarters of Foreus in Austria.
- Regular travel to Austria.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and internationally for projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in intelligence, investigations, or a comparable field.
- Of which, at least 5 years of experience in intelligence, security, risk, or crisis management outside of a government agency.
- Demonstrable experience in the private sector or commercial intelligence environment.
- Experience in building and leading teams.
- Ability to build and develop a new location largely independently.
- Very good understanding of intelligence processes, information gathering, analysis, and operational implementation.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and strong sense of personal responsibility.
- High degree of discretion, integrity, and professional judgment.
- Fluent German and English.
- Willingness for regular travel to Austria and within Germany.
- An existing network in the German intelligence, corporate, legal, financial, or security sector is an advantage.
