About the Role
Seeking a confident and experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee multi-site operations and support facilities management teams across 16 prison sites in the South West and South Central regions. This role involves partnering with regional operations teams to drive improvements in risk management, promote a positive health and safety culture, provide leadership and coaching, implement policies, lead investigations, and ensure continuous improvement. Extensive travel to operational sites is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Support site-based teams of experienced and passionate colleagues.
- Partner with regional operations teams.
- Drive improvements in risk management.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support for Health and Safety Coordinators.
- Implement policies.
- Lead investigations.
- Ensure continuous improvement.
- Travel extensively to operational sites to foster a one-team approach and share best practices.
Requirements
- Total Facilities Management (TFM) Industry Experience
- Methodical, organised approach to work with good attention to detail
- Strong communicator who can tailor their messages depending on audience
- Resilient and confident in their knowledge and can share this with others
- Competently use MS Office and IT/FM systems and software
- Full UK driving Licence and a willingness to travel extensively

Salary/Compensations
- £68,274.12 per annum
- Plus travel expenses
