About the Role
As a Working Student in Customer Service, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with all inquiries related to their tests. You will independently answer questions, ensure each case is closed properly, and contribute to improving our support processes with the diligence required in a regulated healthcare environment. This role is ideal for students who enjoy direct communication and want to experience a healthtech startup from the inside, with manageable hours that fit around their studies.
Responsibilities
- Answer inquiries via email, phone, and chat regarding test kits, activation, sample collection, shipping, and results in a friendly, fast, and accurate manner.
- Maintain and expand the knowledge base, including FAQs, response templates, and internal guides, to support scaling with volume.
- Process returns, cancellations, reshipments, and special cases accurately, ensuring documentation and data privacy compliance.
- Identify recurring issues and collaborate closely with the Operations team.
Requirements
- Be friendly, approachable, and positive, even when dealing with frustrated, concerned, or uncertain customers.
- Possess initial practical experience from part-time jobs, internships, or working student positions, ideally with customer contact.
- Demonstrate self-organization, structured and reliable work habits, and the ability to manage multiple open inquiries.
- Proactively seek information rather than waiting for instructions and escalate issues to Operations and Product.
- Communicate clearly and friendly in German (native level) and very good English (written and spoken).
- Be enrolled at a German university (working student status).
