About the Role
The Data Science and Data Management team is responsible for the entire data processing pipeline, from data collection to the creation of digital products. As part of the team, you will contribute to the entire data-driven value chain and the continuous development of our data-based product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop digital products for end customers (e.g., the Kienbaum Compensation Portal) within an agile setup.
- Process and analyze essential data content.
- Provide necessary data to users, for example, via APIs, ensuring the best possible data quality.
- Manage data processing and data storage.
- Work in interdisciplinary teams with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Application Developers, IT Operations, and Product Managers.
Requirements
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Medieninformatik, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in fundamental software engineering concepts such as architecture design, data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
- Practical experience in code collaboration and version control (Git).
- Practical experience in Unit Testing.
- Practical experience in Build Pipelines (Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery).
- Practical experience in Application Operations and API Design (REST, OpenAPI).
- Experience in the (Azure) Cloud is preferred.
- Interest in functional programming or expanding knowledge beyond object-oriented paradigms.
- Native-level German language skills.
- Fluent English language skills.
