About the Role

As a Public Sector Specialist, you will help prepare opportunities to influence a broad ecosystem of domestic and international government agencies and related companies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management, project managers, engineers, and researchers to plan and execute documentation strategies that connect Sakana AI's cutting-edge technology with government budget requests and policy formulation.
- Leverage deep internal expertise, understanding the unique budget cycles and policy-making processes of government agencies, to write and edit persuasive, high-quality proposals, business overview documents (concept diagrams), and technical explanations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers in exploring, proposing, and securing public tender opportunities, and in managing post-award government interactions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in one of the following:
- Experience in documentation for budget requests or policy formulation within domestic or international government agencies.
- Experience in creating proposals for R&D or research projects solicited by domestic or international government agencies, and successfully securing them, while working for a private company.
- Continuous interest and understanding of the latest trends in generative AI fields, including AI/LLM.
- Japanese: Business level or higher (N1 level equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree.
