About the Role
This client-side contract role supports a global bank in building its register of material third-party arrangements under a new UK regime. The focus is on executing the established framework by assessing third-party arrangements, identifying material ones, and compiling necessary data for the register. This role is crucial for supporting the bank's regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities
- Assess third-party arrangements against defined criteria and record outcomes consistently.
- Coordinate assessment input from relationship owners and stakeholders globally.
- Support the identification of material arrangements and confirm the in-scope population for the register.
- Source required data fields for material arrangements from internal repositories, contracts, and system records.
- Compile and maintain the register in line with the regulatory template, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Track progress across workstreams, manage outstanding items, and report status to the project lead.
- Flag data gaps, inconsistencies, and missing sources, escalating with clear documentation.
- Maintain records of evidence and data sources for future reviews.
- Support the project lead with ad hoc analysis and collation as the approach is refined.
Requirements
- Experience in third-party risk management, outsourcing, vendor management, or a related risk and control function within financial services.
- Exposure to maintaining or populating an outsourcing or third-party register.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work accurately across large volumes of data.
- Strong organizational and PMO skills, including maintaining trackers, managing deadlines, and collating information.
- Confident stakeholder management skills to obtain information from busy stakeholders across locations and time zones.
- Clear, concise written communication skills.
