About the Role

Urodynamic technicians assist physicians in analyzing urinary tract symptoms by performing urodynamic testing and guiding patients through the process.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort patients to Urodynamic rooms.
  • Explain and perform urodynamic testing.
  • Perform urine analysis when necessary.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and communicate findings to physicians when the doctor is seeing the patient immediately after the test.
  • Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment.
  • Stock rooms weekly.
  • Verify eligibility and benefits for upcoming urodynamic patients.
  • Obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Monitor daily schedule to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Return phone calls, provide information, or take messages.
  • Wash, disinfect, and prepare equipment for sterilization.
  • Administer injections as ordered by a physician/physician assistant prior to testing.
  • Serve as a back-up medical assistant with all associated responsibilities.
  • Notify manager of patient difficulties, equipment malfunctions, or supply needs.

Salary/Compensations

  • $30.634 - $32.8077 Hourly
