About the Role
This role focuses on algorithm research and development for 3D measurement, involving software module creation and performance evaluation. The position is part of a 4-person team aiming to advance 3D measurement capabilities and develop new features.
Responsibilities
- Algorithm research and software module creation for 3D measurement
- Product performance evaluation
- Simulation and actual equipment evaluation
- Algorithm research (minor changes, parameter optimization) and software module creation
- Development of new 3D functions (including new algorithm research)
- Element research for improving 3D measurement performance (including algorithm and overall measurement system research)
Requirements
- University degree or higher
- Native level Japanese proficiency
- TOEIC score of 500 or higher
- Knowledge of image processing
- Software development experience including numerical calculation programs (at least two languages from C, C++, C#, Python)
- Algorithm research and implementation experience
- Software development experience using OpenCV and similar tools for computer vision
- Over 2 years of software development experience including numerical calculation programs (at least two languages from C, C++, C#, Python, regardless of scale or genre)
- Basic knowledge of optical theory (reflection, refraction, interference, etc.)
- Algorithm research experience in 3D reconstruction processing such as SLAM and 3D point cloud processing
- Performance evaluation experience in 2D/3D measurement
- English communication skills: TOEIC score of 650 or higher
