About the Role

As our Learning & Development Manager, you will own LEAP’s learning agenda, setting the strategy, building the roadmap, and delivering it. This role involves bringing core capabilities to life, launching a Manager Development Program, establishing a single Learning Management System (LMS), and integrating leadership, compliance, onboarding, and product training into a unified L&D function. This is a build role for a proactive individual who owns the outcome, reporting to the Chief People Officer and acting as the subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

  • Set the L&D strategy, building and owning a 12-month L&D roadmap aligned to business priorities, and executing it from plan to delivery.
  • Bring LEAP’s Core Capabilities to life by embedding them into programs, manager development, and daily people practices.
  • Design and launch the Manager Development Program, facilitate key sessions, and coach leaders to embed learning within their teams.
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of a single Learning Management System (LMS) for hosting, tracking, and reporting on all learning.
  • Lead product training, compliance, and onboarding learning to ensure all LEAPsters onboard quickly and consistently.
  • Partner with the P&C team, Execs, internal experts, and external providers to deliver relevant, scalable solutions.
  • Measure and report on learning participation and effectiveness, using data to inform future investments.
  • Plan and deliver programs creatively within budget, optimizing resource utilization.

Requirements

  • Proven L&D leadership experience, including building and owning L&D strategy and programs end-to-end, preferably in a fast-growing tech or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated bias for action, with the ability to move quickly, make decisions with imperfect information, launch, learn, and iterate.
  • Ability to translate strategy into execution, creating clear plans, milestones, and results.
  • Clear and compelling communication skills, capable of explaining ideas simply, building business cases, and influencing executives and leaders.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability for outcomes, proactive stakeholder updates, and early risk flagging.
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design, with the ability to apply them to programs that drive behavioral change.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing a Learning Management System (LMS), including reporting capabilities.
  • Confident facilitation and coaching skills for diverse audiences, from new hires to senior leaders.
  • Resourceful and innovative approach to delivering high-quality programs within budget.
  • Ideally, possess certification in leadership diagnostics such as Human Synergistics (LSI), The Leadership Circle, or DiSC.
