About the Role

Our established and diverse Motor team are searching for Claims Consultants to manage a large portfolio of differentiating complex motor claims in a fast-paced environment. You will deal directly with Third Parties, Loss Adjusters, and NSW Government Agencies, provide support to staff, and build strong client relationships while adhering to company values.

Responsibilities

  • End to end motor claims management
  • Raise payments and settle claims with client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authority
  • Achieve monthly productivity levels as designated by management
  • Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines
  • Find opportunities for process improvement and recognise potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims where applicable

Requirements

  • Motor claims insurance experience is essential
  • Passion and drive to take ownership of your own claims portfolio
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Energy and flexibility to work with the Corporate team, and the desire to support projects recognised as being crucial to our long-term business plan
  • Insurance policy interpretation skills
  • Stakeholder management
