About the Role
Impact Kids is seeking experienced individuals to teach and instruct youth soccer classes and camps. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, positive athlete passionate about coaching and making a positive impact on young children's lives through sports.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students, providing soccer-specific coaching and instruction.
- Create a safe and fun learning environment.
- Serve as a positive role model for students.
- Provide daily soccer instruction/coaching to students aged 4-14 with varying ability levels.
- Demonstrate soccer skills and tactics, explaining principles.
- Observe and assess student performance, providing feedback.
- Manage group behavior, health, safety, and security.
- Ensure the safety of students and team members.
- Organize and prepare daily plans in a fun and creative manner.
- Utilize effective classroom management skills to lead activities and foster inclusion.
- Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists on daily responsibilities.
- Adhere to the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies.
- Exhibit Impact Kids Core Values at all times.
Requirements
- Must possess a high energy, positive approach with a genuine desire to impact young children’s lives through sports.
- Must be an athlete with considerable skill and passionate about coaching.
- Provide constructive criticism.
- Implement company curriculum.
- Be a team player.
- Demonstrate outstanding communication skills with children and parents.
- Ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct written and oral language.
- A Child abuse clearance and criminal checks are required.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations requiring running and climbing stairs.
- Good physical condition to execute all responsibilities.

Experience Level
- 1-5 years minimum soccer/youth sports coaching experience
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working with children (e.g., academic/athletic tutoring, camp counselor, youth volunteer)
