About the Role
As a Director of Human Resources, you are responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive human resources strategy that supports the company's long-term business objectives and culture. You will lead the hotel’s HR function, spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the hotel's business objectives, ensuring compliance with corporate HR policies and local regulations
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to attract and retain top talent while optimizing labor costs
- Oversee training programs, performance evaluations, and succession planning to support career growth and leadership development
- Guide employee relations, conflict resolution, and labor contract compliance, including grievance handling and negotiations
- Establish and enforce HR policies, ensuring adherence to employment laws, wage and benefit administration, and workplace safety regulations
- Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while supporting hotel operations
- Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
Requirements
- Extensive HR experience across key functions—recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations
- Strong understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance standards
- Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and transparent practices
- Proven ability to lead HR teams and influence organizational culture
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and other HR-related software
- Excellent interpersonal and strategic communication abilities
- Able to adapt to a dynamic hotel environment and support operational needs
