About the Role
This is an entry-level food service position involving simple manual and heavy laboring tasks in connection with the operation of Central Kitchen, Middle and High Schools. The role may assist Food Service truck drivers with daily deliveries and requires working under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Carries supplies to and from storeroom
- Washes pots and pans
- Operates kitchen appliances and equipment
- Receives early deliveries and puts milk in lowerators
- Helps cook with heavy lifting
- Keeps freezer and refrigerators in order
- Sweeps and mops floors in kitchen, store room, walk in freezer and refrigerator
- Cleans behind serving counter of faculty and student lunchrooms
