About the Role
Lead and manage the delivery of mission critical emergency management digital, communications, and technology solutions supporting FRNSW's network communications, telephony, Triple Zero call-taking, dispatch, and front-line operations. This includes ESCAD systems, Fire Station Equipment (FSE) turn-out capabilities, radio technologies, and emergency management software. The role ensures digital platforms align with operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of mission critical emergency management digital, communications, and technology solutions.
- Ensure all digital platforms, systems, and services are aligned with operational needs of emergency responders and field-based personnel.
- Manage vendor relationships and ICT contracts.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in leading large-scale ICT projects, service delivery and operational technology in an emergency services mission critical context.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategy for executive decision making.
- Proven experience delivering digital programs within government policy, risk, procurement, and cyber-security frameworks.
- Thorough understanding of NSW Government ICT, cyber security, and procurement policies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and ICT contracts, ensuring strategic value, accountability, and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent professional experience.
