About the Role
We are looking to hire a Team Manager in the London Disability Management Services Office.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise, oversight, and guidance on claim management, including benefit entitlement decisions, assessment of referral to service providers, management of claim expenses, assessment and creation of return-to-work plans, and claim management.
- Coach staff to ensure consistent performance and development through monthly claim reviews and one-on-one discussions.
- Provide leadership and coaching on organizational skills and prioritization to help staff achieve performance goals.
- Collaborate with other managers to plan, prioritize, schedule, and allocate staff and tasks to meet service delivery objectives.
- Articulate ideas and directions to staff to promote trust, commitment, and motivation.
- Explain, present, and summarize information verbally at an appropriate level for the audience.
- Gather and analyze information to anticipate and recognize problems and opportunities, create and evaluate alternatives, and develop solutions collaboratively.
- Build strong business relationships with plan sponsors and internal customers.
- Handle appeals and escalated complaints to resolution.
- Participate in finalist and other presentations for current or prospective clients.
Requirements

- Maintain confidence and exhibit empathy with staff, clients, and co-workers in sensitive and difficult circumstances.
- Build and gain consensus when appropriate.
- Exercise financial prudence, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Reliability Status Security Clearance required, to be completed after offer of employment.

Salary/Compensations
- $68,400 - $113,900 annually
