About the Role
We are looking for an LMHC licensed in New York to provide counseling services to individuals and families. The role is focused on direct client work, thoughtful clinical decision-making, and maintaining clear records throughout the course of care. You will work with clients facing a range of mental health concerns and collaborate with other professionals when a case calls for additional input or support.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients for scheduled counseling sessions
- Review presenting concerns and relevant background information
- Establish a clear plan for treatment based on each case
- Provide therapy using methods appropriate to the client’s needs
- Keep progress notes and required clinical records current
- Coordinate with other providers when needed
- Follow New York licensing and ethical guidelines
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active New York State license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Minimum of two years in clinical counseling.
- Specialization in family therapy, trauma, or addiction is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- $115,000–$120,000 per year
