About the Role
Our practice partners with North American Dental Group to deliver best-in-class patient care, focusing on putting every patient first, every visit. We aim to transform the dental experience through empathy and by utilizing our individuality and dental expertise to ensure patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
- Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
- Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
- Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
- Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
- Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Requirements
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training.
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
- Radiography/X-RAY certification for respective state.
- CPR Certification required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
