About the Role

Serves as a liaison between business areas and IT, understanding business goals and objectives. Collaborates with business partners to understand needs and works with IT to resolve issues and provide solutions. Translates business requirements into functional and technical requirements, and collaborates on solution design with IT architects and business clients.

Responsibilities

Leads and facilitates meetings and communications between IT and assigned business areas.
Leads or oversees workflow analysis for requirements identification.
Evaluates business processes, anticipates requirements, and facilitates solution development and implementation.
Captures, analyzes, and documents business and user requirements and user stories.
Participates in the development of IT roadmaps for assigned business areas.
Identifies opportunities to improve business and IT processes and champions change.
Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Monitors industry activities and pursues independent learning for assigned business areas.
Conducts reviews of business processes and develops functional optimization strategies.
May participate in the development of user documentation, training materials, and job aids.
May facilitate Application Development and Support activities for development requests.
Accountable for Capital Project Business cases and estimates and leads presentations.
Works with the business to assess proposed enhancement requests for value and completeness.
May lead and contribute value to Business Priority Council (BPC) meetings.
Participates in procurement events (RFP/RFI) and supports the development of statements of work.
Experience with ESRI / ArcFM GIS Enterprise.

Requirements

Requires business and general system knowledge and incorporates knowledge from other related disciplines to solve complex business/IT problems.
Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures.
Exposure to multiple, varied technologies and application development methodologies; has participated in a large project.
Knowledge of one or more business domains, and a detailed understanding of how the domains relate and can be assembled into solutions that meet business and IT needs.
Conducts business process analysis and the creation of current/future state process modeling.
Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) – specifically demand management best practices and controls.
Understanding and knowledge of IT standards and controls.
Ability to work on teams and collaborate effectively with business and technical roles, including influencing stakeholders at different management levels.
Ability to balance the long-term (big picture) and short-term implications of potential solution decisions.
Ability to manage competing priorities and a track record of following through on commitments.
Ability to lead small high performing teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
Work is performed primarily in an office environment which requires standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, writing and typing.
Work involves using a computer and telephone as well as personal communication.
Work includes researching, analyzing, writing and public speaking.
This role works in an environment that often requires the performance of multiple simultaneous activities, where multiple competing deadlines need to be met and work is performed under pressure while involving significant business commitments and results.
Occasional overtime may be needed.

Salary/Compensations

$114,970.00-$127,740.00
