About the Role
Lead the implementation of the Infrastructure & Operations operating model and drive transformation outcomes across people, process, governance, and ways of working. Translate strategic operating model design into practical implementation, ensuring stakeholder alignment, managing dependencies, and enabling successful adoption across the technology function.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the Infrastructure & Operations operating model and ensure delivery of key transformation outcomes.
- Partner with the I&O Working Group to plan, coordinate, and drive implementation activities, decisions, and delivery milestones.
- Work closely with Executive stakeholders and the IT Executive Team to provide strategic advice, progress updates, risk management, and recommendations.
- Oversee and execute stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption strategies to support successful change outcomes.
- Refine operating model artefacts, implementation roadmaps, and governance arrangements based on delivery insights and evolving business requirements.
- Provide leadership and expertise in organisational design, workforce transition planning, and people-related change initiatives.
- Partner with People, Culture, and workforce planning specialists to ensure workforce strategies support future-state organisational requirements.
- Lead change management and engagement activities to embed new structures, processes, and ways of working.
- Act as a trusted adviser and transformation leader, influencing stakeholders and maintaining momentum throughout the implementation journey.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and proactively drive mitigation actions to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale operating model, organisational design, business transformation, or workforce transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record delivering complex operating model implementation programs within technology or enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of organisational effectiveness, governance models, workforce planning, and contemporary operating practices.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience partnering with executive leaders and senior decision-makers.
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation and delivery.
- Experience designing and delivering communication, engagement, and change adoption strategies.
- Experience partnering with Human Resources, workforce planning, and business leaders on organisation-wide change initiatives.
- Strong resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving capability, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in complex environments.
