About the Role

As a Wealth Management Consultant, you will lead sales initiatives in the Wirehouse Channel segment, identifying firm and firm representatives' needs and coordinating efforts to serve those needs. You will manage American Funds Distributions presence, relationships, and business results with key Wirehouse firms. You excel at delivering motivational and informative presentations and are motivated by setting goals and measuring your performance against them.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales initiatives in the Wirehouse Channel segment.
  • Identify firm and firm representatives' needs.
  • Coordinate efforts to serve identified needs.
  • Manage American Funds Distributions presence, relationships, and business results with key Wirehouse firms.
  • Deliver motivational and informative presentations.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in third-party distribution.
  • Broad knowledge of the mutual fund, SMA, ETF and CIT business and sales cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Deep technical knowledge of portfolio construction.
  • Ability to leverage technologies to create custom analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.).
  • Proficiency in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner.
  • One or more of the following designations: Series 7, 66, and/or CIMA, and CFA.
