About the Role

The Capability Strategy Lead defines and evolves the foundational business and digital capabilities required to deliver a best-in-class advisor experience, ensuring the Field Experience (FX) value stream intentionally builds capabilities to execute strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define core FX capabilities aligned to strategic priorities and advisor needs.
  • Assess current-state maturity and identify structural capability gaps.
  • Establish clear capability definitions and success criteria.
  • Design future-state capability models and target operating concepts.
  • Partner with product, technology, and operations teams to translate capabilities into solutions.
  • Support sequencing of capability build across the FX roadmap.
  • Ensure capability development is coordinated across initiatives and teams.
  • Identify dependencies and integration risks early.
  • Support consistent execution through alignment with program and product leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • 3-5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, operating model design, or transformation roles
  • Experience working across business and technology teams
  • Strong structured thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort operating in complex, matrixed environments
  • Strong communication skills including experience in developing executive level presentations
  • Collaborative work style and leadership presence with ability to effectively interact and earn trust of peers and senior management across the organization
  • Self-starter with a passion to deliver results
