About the Role
Join one of Australia's most successful SAP Transformation and Operate teams. Develop your career within Deloitte Operate, a strategic growth area for the business. This role is at the consultant level and requires working on client sites across Australia, supporting daily operations and continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
- Full ownership and governance of SAP application management services for the Finance stream.
- Serve as the onshore point of escalation for clients and team members regarding Finance issues.
- Oversee and guide incident assessment and resolution, ensuring compliance with service levels.
- Establish and manage collaborative client relationships with counterparts, leadership, and IT teams.
- Support business development and proposal creation activities.
- Assist in recruiting and developing team members.
- Provide training to users and fellow consultants.
- Design, build, test, and deploy Finance incident resolutions and changes using SAP ERP solutions.
- Proactively contribute to the innovation and improvement of client Finance processes.
- Collaborate with SAP solution experts and business consultants to prepare for client innovation workshops.
- Continuously seek opportunities to incorporate AI for optimizing and automating service delivery.
- Support the SAP leadership team in developing new service solutions and presenting capabilities to clients.
- Engage with the service management expert community globally to share experiences and optimize service models.
- Help attract, hire, and grow expert service staff for local and global delivery centers.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a consulting environment.
- Strong client relationship and service delivery skills.
- Experienced and well versed in SAP ECC experience on FICO, FICA and FSCD modules.
- Advanced understanding of best practice processes in SAP Finance.
- Experience in the Insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of SAP cross-functional integration, specifically with Supply Chain and Asset Management modules.
- Knowledge of Group Reporting is advantageous.
- Basic debugging skills are advantageous.
- Familiarity with standards like ITIL.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Well versed with ITSM processes such as Release Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management.
- Experience in end-to-end solution delivery from requirement gathering through to production deployment.
- Ability to work in large multidisciplinary teams in a virtual and physical presence.
- Exposure or experience in S/4HANA Finance is desirable.
