About the Role
This role is responsible for ensuring a successful customer journey and fostering long-term client engagement through touch points that drive adoption, retention, user/usage growth, and support strategic objectives. The team develops and executes data-driven processes to deliver world-class customer experiences, with potential focuses on migration, onboarding, or global strategic accounts. Your interactions will strengthen client relationships and reaffirm their decision to work with S&P Market Intelligence, contributing to revenue retention and growth by educating clients on capabilities and driving adoption.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives in partnership with Marketing, Product, and account teams.
- Drive continuous service improvement with the goal of product adoption and usage growth.
- Evolve account profiles, including affiliations, geographic presence, and business interests, using Salesforce.
- Educate clients on capabilities to increase usage, leveraging product specialists.
- Increase adoption/usage by focusing on distinct users.
- Provide platform, product functionality, and new release training (on-site or virtually) specific to user job functions.
- Liaise with the product management team to master new product enhancements and relay client feedback.
- Monitor product usage and develop account profiles to support renewal proposals and identify upsell opportunities, in partnership with the usage analytics team.
- Continuously learn and deepen knowledge of the product suite, enhancements, and new offerings.
- Understand customer business and market trends and suggest solutions through product education or internal connections.
- Ensure client enhancement requests are routed to product stakeholders.
- Leverage internal sales tools like CRM and Cadence systems to optimize client engagement.
- Work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Requirements
- Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams.
- Exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven record of maintaining strong relationships with senior client members, addressing needs, and maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Goal and action-oriented, with the ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a consultative sales or client-facing role (inside sales, prospecting, sales support, customer support) and in dealing with challenging situations.
- Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
- Candidates who reach the final stage must attend at least one in-person interview at their nearest S&P Global office before an offer can be made.
