About the Role
The Environmental Services (EVS) Project Engineer is an experienced "operator without a portfolio" who provides flexible support to prospective, new, and existing accounts. This role involves conducting facility surveys, assisting with presentations, planning and executing new business start-ups, auditing and re-engineering existing accounts, training personnel, and performing other operations, program development, teaching, research, or troubleshooting assignments. The Project Engineer must be knowledgeable and fluent in EVS and support service programs.
Responsibilities
- Successfully builds relationships at all levels of the client, customer, and Company organizations.
- Manages multiple business goals and priorities to achieve Client Satisfaction and Client Retention.
- Works closely with the IS Department, recommending system changes or modifications.
- Collects and analyzes facility data to develop appropriate staffing levels.
- Identifies and addresses operational issues and develops action plans for quality and service improvements.
- Implements all TouchPoint programs according to business proposals and Company standards.
- Performs Operations Audits as needed.
- Provides support, training, and recommendations to the on-site management team.
- Provides orientation and management training to existing and new management teams.
- Provides as-needed support for payroll transitions, marketing/communications, and operations.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be willing to travel 85% of the time across the US.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including ten days on/four days off, and evenings/weekends/holidays.
- Must be willing to be a hands-on manager.
- Must be based within reasonable commuting distance of a major airport/city hub.
- Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

- Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
Skills
- Environmental services/housekeeping management experience at a large volume account or similar setting.
