About the Role
Sirona Medical is seeking a Product Operations Lead to collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership. This role focuses on shaping processes, ceremonies, estimation practices, and review/approval flows to enhance team execution. The position is consultative, emphasizing consensus-building and process improvements that teams will adopt.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and evolve working ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Facilitate ceremonies and propose structural improvements, presenting options to leadership.
- Collaboratively adjust processes based on team feedback and changing needs.
- Partner with leadership to shape a shared estimation approach.
- Incorporate historical data into planning conversations to help teams calibrate estimation.
- Design a clearer intake process in collaboration with the teams who will use it.
- Facilitate conversations to clarify review and approval checkpoints across the development process.
- Surface and resolve ambiguity around approval, consultation, and information at each checkpoint.
- Maintain lightweight tracking to make work status easily visible.
- Serve as a process-focused thought partner between Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Surface unclear handoffs and work with teams to find solutions.
- Maintain and refine tooling that supports agreed-upon processes.
- Offer process-level observations to provide input for leadership decisions.
- Potentially assist with coordination and management of clinical and customer development partners.
- Collaborate on internal and external enablement and early adopter/beta programs.
- Ensure feedback and readiness activities are coordinated with the broader product process.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in product management/operations, program/project management, or a similar process-facilitation role within a product/engineering organization.
- Experience facilitating agile ceremonies, estimation practices, or review/approval conversations.
- Comfortable working across Product, Design, and Engineering without formal authority.
- Comfortable operating in a regulated, clinical, or enterprise B2B environment (healthcare or health IT strongly preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with radiology, PACS/RIS, medical imaging, or clinical workflow software (Preferred).
- Experience coordinating with external technical partners on scoping or scheduling of collaborative work (Preferred).
- Scrum Master, PMP, or similar process/delivery certification (Preferred).
