About the Role
Serve as the on-site Subject Matter Expert for construction activities related to Workplace Office Space Fit-Out and amenity areas, focusing on architectural components and adherence to workplace standards. Lead planning and programming to ensure Office Space Fit-Out installations are integrated into the overall project design and execution.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Owner/Client interface and manage relationships with the project design team.
- Focus on construction activities for Workplace Office Space Fit-Out and amenity areas, including architectural components and adherence to workplace standards.
- Lead planning and programming for facilities operational components.
- Lead IT, Security, and A/V equipment planning, programming, and integration.
- Coordinate all Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure client engagement on potential changes.
- Serve as a key liaison during programming, design, construction documents, and execution phases.
- Moderate project meetings, create agendas, maintain directories, issue minutes, and track action items.
- Develop and track budgets and milestones/schedules, documenting changes and deviations.
- Generate RFPs, interview, analyze, and make recommendations for Project Team assembly.
- Oversee the FF&E and 3rd party procurement process.
- Manage cost, change control, and engage with the construction team for value-engineering and program updates.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the construction project team, owner's consultants, and contractors.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Sr. Project Manager Lab/Tech Specialist.
Requirements
- Background in Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering with at least 12 years of experience.
- Tenant Improvement project management experience is critical.
- Seasoned experience in fit-out, audio visual installations, and all aspects of FFE.
- Familiarity with MEP, FFE, AV, IT, and Security regarding design and construction requirements.
- Strong analytical skills to understand, interpret, and communicate critical schedule data and present solutions.
- Ability to learn client-specific software applications and be technologically capable.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, and SharePoint.
- Five years of experience with MS Project or similar scheduling software.
- Proficient with various web-based project management tools and IWMS systems.
- Understanding of the project life cycle and ability to use data for risk identification, quantification, response, and control.
- Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, anticipate needs, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Strong planning and organizing skills to accomplish goals, evaluate results, develop schedules, and orchestrate multiple activities.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- $121,658 to $170,000
