About the Role
At Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM), we are dedicated to helping people live full and healthy lives by focusing on treating, curing, and preventing complex diseases. The Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) team is seeking an Associate Director, West for the Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) team, a field-based role focused on setting the standard for Patient Experience (Px) and building personalized, seamless, and supportive patient journeys.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of FRMs responsible for access and fulfillment across Neuroscience healthcare provider accounts.
- Execute the PECS FRM strategy, ensuring healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers have the necessary information, tools, and resources for treatment adherence.
- Foster communication across JJIM departments including Patient Access, Pharmacy Access, Medical, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and Field Sales.
- Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team skilled in the JJIM Neuroscience business, healthcare marketplace, and access & fulfillment.
- Build trust, engagement, and team commitment towards a shared vision.
- Lead a regionally aligned team of up to 10 direct reports to maximize access & fulfillment impact for JJIM patients.
- Develop long and short-term strategic plans for the team and manage seamless execution of tactics.
- Pull-through district vision, create team culture, drive accountability, manage FRM performance, forge customer relationships, and achieve team goals.
- Coach and develop FRMs to leverage data insights and account management competencies to proactively address access barriers.
- Support team members in identifying, understanding, and addressing access & fulfillment obstacles, including knowledge of Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit, Assignment of Benefit (AOB), specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships and collaborate with partners such as Sales District Managers, SCG, Franchise Marketing, and Brand.
- Manage and allocate budget in alignment with team objectives.
- Carry out all responsibilities with strict adherence to the JJIM Credo and HCC Guidelines, in line with FRM Rules of Engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of 8 years healthcare business related experience required.
- Knowledge of account management, managed care, and reimbursement principles including pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals processes.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and performance success in prior roles.
- A valid Driver's License in one of the 50 United States.
- Reside within the geography or be willing to relocate to it.

Salary/Compensations
- $122,000.00 - $212,750.00

- Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year (may vary by state)
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
- Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
- Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period
- Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
- Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
