About the Role

In your new role as Finance Graduate Trainee, you will have the opportunity to fast-track your career to a Finance Leadership role within two years. Your leadership skills will be developed through formal training, productive ‘on the job’ learning, and the benefit and support of a dedicated Senior Management mentor. You will also gain a sound understanding of all hotel operations through an effective cross-training program and have access to further your Accounting education as funded by the program. At the end of the two-year program you will graduate into a full-time Senior Finance role based on your performance throughout the program, at a location within APAC, as determined by business needs (preferences for final location are taken into account).

Responsibilities

  • Placement in Australasia’s centralised finance team in Sydney for up to 9 months.
  • Opportunity for finance business partnering roles in Sydney or abroad upon successful completion of initial placement.
  • Applications close November 30th, 2026.
  • Online video screening and first interviews in December.
  • Second interviews in January for shortlisted candidates.
  • Contracts offered and negotiated in February.
  • First placement begins February 22nd, 2027.

Requirements

  • Graduated or intend to graduate between 2024 - 2026 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or Hospitality Management.
  • Commitment to CPA Australia qualifications and development opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people at all levels of seniority.
  • Enthusiastic team player with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Computer literate.
