About the Role
As the Product Owner for Agentic Workforce Automation within Tech@BCG, you will own the product vision and backlog for several agents that shift common, repeatable tasks across Tech@BCG onto a non-human, AI-driven workforce. You will identify and prioritize tasks for automation, translate business needs into requirements for AI agents, and define success metrics to prove the value of automation.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and backlog for AI agents.
- Identify and prioritize tasks and workflows for automation.
- Translate business needs and stakeholder input into clear requirements and acceptance criteria for AI agents.
- Define success metrics including throughput, quality, adoption, and cost-to-serve.
- Serve as the primary voice of the business and end user for the agentic workforce initiative.
- Build and prioritize a backlog balancing quick wins with longer-term automation opportunities.
- Run discovery with stakeholders to surface candidate tasks.
- Make decisions on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs as the platform evolves.
- Partner with engineering to define 'good' for each agent.
- Own change management and adoption across impacted teams.
- Ensure the pace of automation aligns with governance, Responsible AI principles, and operational realities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe POPM, or equivalent product/agile certification is a plus.
- 10+ years of product management or product owner experience.
- Demonstrated leadership owning the roadmap and backlog for enterprise-scale platforms.
- Demonstrated experience owning products or platforms involving enterprise AI, Generative AI, or intelligent automation.
- Working understanding of agent architectures, model evaluation, and Responsible AI principles.
- Hands-on experience running discovery with business stakeholders to identify automation candidates.
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for AI agents.
- Experience defining success metrics (throughput, quality, adoption, cost-to-serve) for agentic workflows.
