About the Role

As a Claims Adjuster on the Casualty and Litigation team, you will investigate claims, assess coverage and liability, and manage third-party interactions to drive claims to resolution, all while prioritizing customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Adjudicate intermediate to complex claims, including files in litigation
  • Confirm coverage and complete liability investigations
  • Prepare file summaries for internal reporting, large loss, and reinsurance
  • Manage a busy daily schedule effectively
  • Provide an excellent customer experience

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related program
  • Completed or working towards the CIP designation
  • A minimum of 3 years of liability claim handling experience, preferably with commercial lines
  • Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal Counsel
