About the Role

As a Senior Content Strategist within our Commercial team, you will plan and brief content across thought leadership, campaigns, social and web, reviewing it against brand and quality standards. You will work with subject matter experts and partners to turn technical expertise into client-consumable content, understand AI's role in scaling content functions, and support teams in implementing best practice digital marketing including performance marketing and AEO/SEO. You will manage content calendars, prioritize workload across stakeholders, brief external agencies or freelancers, and use performance data for iterative improvements. Additionally, you will act as a source of guidance on tone of voice and content best practice for colleagues across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and brief content across thought leadership, campaigns, social and web, reviewing it against brand and quality standards
  • Work with subject matter experts and partners to turn technical expertise into content that clients want to consume
  • Understand how AI can help build and scale a modern content function
  • Support teams to implement best practice digital marketing including performance marketing and AEO/SEO
  • Manage content calendars and prioritise workload across multiple stakeholders and deadlines, briefing external agencies or freelancers where needed
  • Use performance data to understand what's working and build in iterative improvements
  • Act as a source of guidance on tone of voice and content best practice for colleagues across the firm

Requirements

  • Solid experience in content strategy or content marketing, ideally within professional or financial services
  • A strong grasp of tone of voice and editorial standards, with the judgement to flex style to audience and channel
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines without losing sight of quality
  • Experience in managing video creation and production alongside agencies
  • Understanding of how brand and content fit together and support one another
  • A good understanding of how content performance is measured, and how to use that to improve future output
  • Comfortable working independently and picking up an existing content programme at pace
