About the Role

The PWM Wealth Strategist is responsible for working with Private Wealth Advisors to develop and bring new client relationships generally above $10MM net worth into Private Wealth Management. They will help with client discovery and work with wealth management specialists to deepen and broaden relationships with existing clients. The Wealth Strategist will serve as a subject matter expert in estate and income tax planning, protection planning, business succession planning, philanthropic strategies, and trust and fiduciary advice. They will focus on growing the PWM business within their assigned Market by utilizing their established professional network.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Private Wealth Advisors to develop and bring new client relationships generally above $10MM net worth into Private Wealth Management.
  • Assist with client discovery.
  • Collaborate with wealth management specialists to deepen and broaden relationships with existing clients.
  • Meet all of client’s wealth planning, estate planning and wealth transfer needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in estate and income tax planning, protection planning, business succession planning, philanthropic strategies, and trust and fiduciary advice.
  • Leverage thorough knowledge of all Wealth products offered by U.S. Bank, including fiduciary products, to identify and implement strategies working with client's external and internal advisors.
  • Grow the PWM business within assigned Market by utilizing established professional network in the local and/or regional market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically 10 or more years of wealth management experience with high/ultra-high net worth clients.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree preferred.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Broad knowledge of fiduciary, tax or estate planning products, services, and strategies.
  • Experience drafting or reviewing estate or business documents.
  • Strong sales and business development acumen.
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies.

  • $139,230.00 - $163,800.00
