About the Role
Tripstack is seeking an IT leader to manage global IT operations, including hardware, software, SaaS, office infrastructure, and procurement. This hands-on role involves owning the IT budget, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring IT accountability across three global offices.
Responsibilities
- Run global IT operations
- Own onboarding and offboarding from the IT side, including accounts, hardware, and access
- Manage office IT in Toronto, Pune, and Kraków, covering network, Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, AV, printers, and physical access systems
- Administer the collaboration stack (Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, etc.), including license hygiene, integrations, and lifecycle
- Act as the escalation point for IT-related issues and communicate status to leadership
- Own IT procurement and vendor management globally
- Negotiate pricing and terms, consolidate tools and vendors, and optimize seat counts
- Own IT spend tracking and capital planning
- Manage the IT operating and capital budget end-to-end and report monthly with Finance
- Build and maintain a multi-year OPEX/CAPEX plan for device refresh, office infrastructure, and investments
- Manage the cost of cloud spending, identify inefficiencies, and bring them under management
- Implement and maintain endpoint security baseline in partnership with Security
- Own identity and access administration for corporate systems in partnership with Security and SRE
- Create a clear boundary between corporate IT and production infrastructure
- Document IT processes, standards, and runbooks
- Automate repetitive IT tasks and reporting using AI tooling
- Set and publish IT service metrics and report on them monthly
Requirements
- Proven experience running IT operations for a company of similar size
- Direct management of an IT team and accountability for an IT budget
- Strong procurement and vendor management track record, including negotiating SaaS and hardware agreements
- Budget ownership experience, including building and reporting against IT opex and capex budgets
- Experience supporting distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting cost and risk to executives
- 8+ years in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Based in the Greater Toronto Area and available to work across Toronto, Pune, and Kraków time zones
