  • Write, test, and maintain detection rules to reduce noise and measure coverage against attacker behavior.
  • Lead incident response from detection through post-mortem, owning and testing IR runbooks via tabletop exercises.
  • Perform forensic analysis on compromised assets, ensuring proper evidence preservation.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop and improve security and IT policies and documentation.
  • Serve as the business point of contact for external audits and assessments.
  • Track threat intelligence relevant to energy, trading, and GPU infrastructure, translating it into detections and hunts.
  • Manage vulnerability management from a threat-led perspective, prioritizing by exploitability and exposure, and driving remediation.
  • Monitor data center security, flagging deviations from the segmentation model.
  • Provide feedback to prevention strategies by working with IT and engineering to address root causes.

Requirements

  • Background in IT, SOC operations, or other hands-on technical work.
  • Solid grasp of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including PCAP analysis, flow log interpretation, and reasoning about lateral movement.
