About the Role
Buck Mason is seeking a Seasonal Barista to join their team, focusing on exceptional hospitality and crafting delightful beverages in a welcoming environment. The role emphasizes creating a home-like atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, teammates, and vendors.
- Craft a variety of beverages.
- Prepare and serve food plates.
- Stay informed about Buck Mason products through tastings, cuppings, and trainings.
- Regularly taste and evaluate beverages to maintain high standards.
- Build a cafe community by sharing coffee knowledge and motivating teammates.
- Perform cafe tasks including dishwashing, sweeping, and dusting.
- Promote sustainability and contribute to company goals.
- Uphold health, food safety, and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Hold a current Food Handler’s Certification for the state of employment or obtain it within 30 days post-hire.
- Possess basic math and computer skills.
- Work a variable schedule including early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be 18 years or older.
