About the Role

Donalda Club is seeking a motivated Casual Dining Bartender to join their team. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional dining and beverage experiences, focusing on crafting cocktails, recommending wines, and creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, private club environment. Please note that Donalda Club is a non-tipping environment.

Responsibilities

Mix, shake, stir, and pour a variety of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Keep the bar stocked and clean, including glassware, ice, garnishes, and snacks.
Ensure the bar and dining areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.
Record sales accurately using the P.O.S system and assist with bar inventory.
Handle guest requests and concerns professionally.
Open and close the bar efficiently.
Support the Food & Beverage team with special projects and tasks.

Requirements

Must be 18+ to serve alcohol.
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Professional, well-groomed, friendly, and team-oriented demeanor.
Candidates 18 years or older may be required to complete a criminal background check.

Skills

Strong wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledge.
Experience with P.O.S systems (JONAS an asset).
Smart Serve Certificate (required).
Ontario Bartending Certification (considered an asset).
Private Club experience is an asset.
