About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Security Agent. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a courteous and gracious demeanor, upholding professionalism at all times.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork with colleagues and other hotel departments.
  • Provide guests with an enjoyable experience that aligns with company standards for excellence, professionalism, and friendliness.
  • Patrol hotel property to ensure guest and employee safety and protect hotel assets.
  • Respond to house calls, assisting guests and employees with safety, security, and hotel operations.
  • Manage all on-property emergencies, including fire, medical, severe weather, and evacuations.
  • Initiate and follow up on investigations of crimes against property and persons.
  • Assist ill and injured guests and employees, ensuring proper documentation and report disposition.
  • Initiate investigations, write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to completion, and document all contacts with guests, visitors, and employees.
  • Monitor for suspicious individuals entering, exiting, or loitering around the building.
  • Conduct walk-through observations of the entire hotel.
  • Promote safe work practices.
  • Answer security telephone and safety hotline calls, responding promptly based on priority.
  • Monitor security screens for unusual activity and report suspicious behavior via radio to the supervisor on duty; report alarms similarly.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform basic office duties, including camera monitoring and shift activity logs.
  • Take ownership of all service issues reported by guests.
  • Maintain heightened awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel.
  • Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested.
  • Adhere to all operational standards, policies, procedures, manuals, memos, and verbal instructions.
  • Be knowledgeable of all safety and emergency procedures, including OSHA requirements.

  • Assist ill and injured guests and employees, ensuring documentation and disposition of reports
  • Initiate investigations, write incidents and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contacts
  • Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around building
  • Conduct walk through observations of entire hotel
  • Promote safe work practices
  • Answer security telephone and safety hotline calls and respond in a timely manner based on priority
  • Observe the security monitors for any unusual activity and in the case of suspicious behavior report directly, via radio, to the supervisor on duty; report any alarms similarly
  • Maintain accurate records while performing basic office duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity log
  • Take ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guests
  • Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
  • Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
  • Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions
  • Be familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements
